Stephanie Bobbitt
President

Hi! I’m Stephanie Bobbitt, and I am your President for the 2011-2012 school year. I am a junior studying Finance, Actuarial Science, and Technology & Management. I am also a member of the 3Spot Dance Troupe and Actuarial Science Club on campus. I have been involved with FBLA-PBL for six years, and I have loved being a part of everything the organization has to offer.

I’m looking forward to this year of PBL! The officer team has been working hard on planning a great year for all of the members. Please feel free to email me or any of the other officers if you have any questions or comments!

 

  
Craig Radke
Vice President of Operations

Hey! I’m Craig Radke and I am your current Vice President of Operations. I am a sophomore studying Accounting and a minor in Sociology. My role is to make sure that everything in the chapter runs smoothly, and maintain our social media outlets. I am involved with Orange Krush on campus and am also a College of Business Ambassador. My hobbies are hanging out with friends, watching movies, and attending sporting events. I am a White Sox, Hawks and Bears fan.

This is my second semester in PBL and I was not involved with FBLA in high school. I was a dedicated member in my high school’s DECA chapter where I competed at the national level so I know a lot about how to compete. My goal is to get as many people to as many events as possible so if you have any questions about anything feel free to contact me at craigradke@gmail.com!

 

  
Joe Hagedorn
Vice President of Finance

Hola. I’m Joe Hagedorn, and I am your Treasurer for this school year. So basically I am the money person, keeping track of financials. I am a junior studying Marketing and General Management. My hobbies include sleeping, reading, watching tv, hanging with friends and just about any sport that I can play.

I have been involved with FBLA-PBL for four going on five years now, 2 in FBLA and soon 3 in PBL. I didn’t start out super active in either FBLA or PBL, but have come to enjoy it a lot, and have become more involved as the years have passed. I look forward to seeing you out at events having fun with us! Feel free to ask me any questions that you might have!

 

  
Courtney Schmidt
Vice President of Communications

Hey everyone! I'm Courtney Schmidt and I am your current Vice President of Communications. This title basically means that I take minutes, attendance, keep with membership, and in charge of the CMAP program. I am a sophomore College of Business, planning on double-majoring in Information Systems and Information Technology and Business Process Management.

I was involved in FBLA in high school, so when I found out that PBL was the college version I was excited to join something familiar. I have greatly enjoyed the opportunity of getting to know people in the organization and was excited to have the privilege of becoming an officer. I look forward to meeting all of you and serving as an officer for you guys.

 

  
Katie Hillyer
Vice President of External Affairs

Hello! My name is Katie Hillyer and I am your Vice President of External Affairs for the 2011-2012 school year. I am a senior in the College of Business studying accountancy. I am in the application process for the Masters of Accountancy Science here at UIUC, so hopefully I have two more years here in Campaign-Urbana.

I transferred to UIUC in the Fall of 2010 from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. I joined PBL in January of 2011 and became involved right away by running for the Community Service Chair Position. I have made great friends here in PBL, and I have tried to take advantage of all of the opportunities that this organization has given to me. This summer I traveled to Orlando, Florida with eight other PBL members for the National Convention. This weekend was such a blast and allowed me the chance to get to know my fellow PBL members much better. I am excited about this upcoming year and my new position! I look forward to getting to know more about all of you and help you develop your professional self!

 

  
Michelle Verasamy
Vice President of Internal Affairs

Hey! I'm Michelle Verasamy and I am Vice President of Internal Affairs. My responsibility as an officer is to manage all social events for PBL. Currently, I am a freshman studying Finance and Computer Science. In my free time I enjoy sleeping, eating, martial arts, soccer and spending time with my family and friends.

I have been involved in the FBLA-PBL organization for 5 years and I am excited to be a part of the PBL officer team this year! Since my first year in FBLA-PBL I have enjoyed the opportunities that the organization has been able to offer me and as an officer I look forward to encouraging current members to be as involved as possible to experience all that FBLA-PBL has to offer.

 

  
Azeem Khan
Vice President of Publications
Hey everyone! My name is Azeem Khan and I am serving as your current VP of Publications. This position means that I am in charge of the chapter's public relations and I make the chapter newsletter that you all love to read. I am currently a Junior majoring in Political Science and Integrated Biology while minoring in Hindi, South East Asian Studies, Business, and Global Security. I am an avid fan of Soccer and like to play around with computers in my free time.

I have been involved in FBLA-PBL for 7 years now and have really enjoyed the experience so far. I hope to get to know all of you and help make FBLA-PBL a memorable part of your college experience.
